Gangtok: Police in Sikkim are investigating a violent assault on a 40-year-old man in the Soreng district that officials suspect was premeditated. The victim, Chandrahang Subba, was attacked near the Ringyang Bridge while returning home. According to his nephew's complaint, three masked assailants used stones and a wheel spanner to inflict serious injuries, including a broken tooth and a fractured leg.
