Guwahati: Rupahihat police raided a home in Nagaon district and seized 12 domestic LPG cylinders. They cuffed one man at the scene. The suspect, Giyasuddin, lives in Koch Gaon. Officers found the gas canisters stashed at his residence during an operation targeting illegal fuel storage.

Authorities are currently digging into where these cylinders came from and who intended to buy them. Investigators want to know if the stash was meant for back-alley sales or off-the-books commercial use. The operation remains active. Police confirmed, "Further investigation is underway."

Locals are worried. Shortages of domestic gas have plagued the area recently. This seizure adds fuel to the fire of community anxiety as investigators push to track the supply chain.
