Kohima: The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation is set to host a District Handloom Expo in Pfutsero. The event runs from July 13 through July 18 in Phek district. The Ministry of Textiles is sponsoring the operation.
Organizers have put out a call for local weavers and artisans to fill the floor. Interested parties need to submit applications to the Project Cell at the corporation office in Half Nagarjan, Dimapur. The deadline for all applications is July 10.
Vendors get a break on costs. The corporation confirmed that "exhibition stalls will be provided free of cost." Participants will also collect a lump-sum payment to cover their travel, daily expenses, and freight bills.
