Kohima: The Sankalp-District Hub for Empowerment of Women in Noklak is launching a two-day crochet skill program. The workshop runs from July 20 to July 21, 2026. It operates under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. Training costs nothing.
The program targets school dropouts and unemployed women. Officials capped attendance at 20 seats. The organizers stated, "The initiative aims to provide livelihood skills and empower women through practical training, thereby promoting self reliance and economic independence."
Registration opens July 13 and shuts July 17, 2026. Applicants who have never used BBBP skill training before get priority. Interested participants can pick up forms at the Sankalp-DHEW Noklak office. Call 9863164705 or 7085964009 for more information.
