Kohima: Nagaland authorities are launching a digital portal to track athlete welfare. The Department of Youth Resources and Sports wants a comprehensive database. Officials in Dimapur and Niuland must submit athlete records by July 24 to the District Youth Resources and Sports Officer. This move aims to improve transparency for state sports development.
Pension payments start June 25 in Dimapur. The District Welfare Office will distribute funds for several schemes, including the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension and disability programs. Beneficiaries must bring copies of their BPL card, Aadhaar, and bank passbook to the Eralibill office. Officials warned that unseeded Aadhaar numbers may lead to removal from future payment cycles.
