Nagaland Launches 2027 Census Houselisting Operation

Kohima: Census 2027 operations kicked off in Satakha Town on July 3. Teams began the formal enumeration process to count and list local households. Tsoinchu Sangtam, the EAC for Zunheboto and the designated Census Officer, managed the ground team. Sangtam led enumerators through the streets to ensure every property was accounted for.

Meanwhile, government officials in Nagaland kept busy elsewhere. Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor for the School Education Department, visited the Kewhitsűtuo Model site on July 2. He conducted a road inspection alongside members of the T Khel Council. Yhome's presence underscored the state's focus on infrastructure development.
