Aizawl: Mizoram University is hunting for new talent. The school needs mental health professionals for its Mental Health and Well-Being Centre in 2026. The university has three open positions ready to fill.
They need one psychologist, one clinical psychologist, and one psychiatrist. The psychologist role pays 30,000 rupees a month and requires a post-graduate degree in psychology. The clinical psychologist earns 2,000 rupees per day. Applicants for that role need an M.Phil. in clinical psychology and a valid CRE. The psychiatrist position pays 7,000 rupees per visit and requires an M.D. in psychiatry.
Candidates must show up in person. The school set a walk-in interview for September 11, 2026. Everything goes down at the Dean’s Office, School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences, Mizoram University. Be ready at 10:30 A.M. for the reporting time before the 11:00 A.M. start. Bring a resume, supporting documents, a passport photo, and a set of self-attested photocopies.
The university stated, "Applications are invited for recruitment to the posts or jobs of various mental healthcare professionals in Mizoram University in 2026."
