Meghalaya Pineapples Hit Bengaluru Shelves via Swiggy

Shillong: Meghalaya’s premium pineapples are now available for purchase on Swiggy Instamart in Bengaluru. Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma shared the news on Thursday. This move links rural farmers directly to big city buyers. Jirang Organic Farmer Producer Company handles the supply chain. They pack the fruit carefully to ensure quality during the long haul.

The state aims to boost farmer profits and increase local brand recognition. This launch builds on momentum from the recent 4th Meghalaya Pineapple Festival held at Dilli Haat in New Delhi. That event saw 30 metric tonnes of pineapples sold in only three days. The Chief Minister expects this retail entry to grow the state's agricultural reach.

Government leaders want more market access. They signed official deals with Flipkart and NCDEX e-Markets Ltd to improve distribution. These partnerships will help move more produce into new regions. “Meghalaya Pineapple” is now just a few clicks away for Bengaluru residents.
