Kohima: Armed strangers prowled near the home of R John Zeliang late at night. The Jalukie B Village Youth Organisation flagged the incident in Peren District on September 24. This sighting triggered deep anxiety for the family and nearby neighbors.
The group wants the police and district administration to run a thorough investigation. They expect officials to act quickly to keep the peace. The JBYO issued a stern warning to anyone involved in such activity. They will not allow threats or fear-mongering to take root in their community.
The organisation stated, "The JBYO asserted it will not tolerate any act of intimidation, fear-mongering, coercion or threat against any resident." Leaders urged locals to stay calm and stop spreading rumors. The group stands with the Zeliang family and pledged to keep their village secure.
