Agartala: Gandhigram Higher Secondary School opened its new pre-primary section on Friday. Bamutia Panchayat Samiti Chairman Dipak Kumar Sinha cut the ribbon to mark the launch. Officials, teachers, and local representatives watched the ceremony.
Joint Director of Elementary Education Harshita Biswas served as the chief guest. She championed joyful learning. Biswas said, "The importance of joyful learning and co-curricular activities for the intellectual and cognitive development of children" remains a top priority. She stressed that kids need active engagement to grow.
Officer on Special Duty Abhijit Samajpati toured the site. He praised the cleanliness and the well-maintained campus. He told teachers to focus on activity-based learning to hit class-appropriate knowledge targets. School Headmaster Rupan Roy credited his staff for the school's ongoing development.
West Tripura District Education Officer Kalyan Bhadra, Inspector of Schools Rajib Chakma, and School Management Committee Chairman Babul Kuri attended the event. Assistant Headmistress Chumki Chakma joined the crowd. PGT teacher Joy Ghosh hosted the program for parents and students.
