Agartala: Booth Level Officers gathered in Santirbazar on Tuesday for a mandatory training workshop. Held at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate office, the session prepares staff for the upcoming Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls in Tripura. Election Commission mandates drive the event.

South Tripura District Magistrate Mohammad Sajjad inaugurated the program. He insisted that accurate rolls keep the democratic process honest. "BLOs serve as the direct link between the administration and the electorate, and their role is critical in maintaining the credibility of the rolls," Sajjad told the press. The administration considers this work a top priority.

Attendees included Santirbazar SDM Dipika Gautam, DCM Saif Uddin, and DCM Kakali Saha. Officials are running similar workshops across all three sub-divisions in South Tripura. Training focuses on verifying voter details, fixing record errors, and enrolling eligible citizens.

The Election Commission will monitor the process at every level. The administration assigned specific tasks to all BLOs to ensure full compliance. These officers must now manage the data with total precision.
