Shillong: Election officials in East Khasi Hills are pushing hard to update voter records. Booth Level Officers have handed out 63,731 enumeration forms since June 30. This massive drive spans all 15 assembly constituencies and 898 polling stations.

Officers are walking door to door. They need to finish collecting paperwork by July 29. The District Election Officer noted that digitisation is already underway with 1,401 forms processed so far. The administration reported that "all reported issues resolved" after nine calls reached their special helpline.

Pynursla leads the district with 7,202 forms distributed. Mawlai and Mawryngkneng follow close behind. While Mawphlang currently holds the top spot for digitisation, local staff continue to move through households to verify data. The project remains on track as workers push to finish the intensive revision.
