Don Bosco College Kohima Kicks Off 12th Euphoria Festival

Kohima: Don Bosco College Kohima launched the 12th edition of its Euphoria Phase 1 event on October 8. The DBCK Student Forum organized the two-day gathering running through October 9. This year focuses on the theme Wisdom of Ancestors Knowledge of Tomorrow.

Seyiekhrietuo Solo, the Sub-Divisional Officer for Kohima Sadar, attended as the special invitee. He pushed the students to fuse fresh technology with their tribal roots. He argued that culture covers more than just songs and festivals. It includes honesty, kindness, and hospitality. He also highlighted traditional textiles as vital historical records. Solo stated, "learn, practice, teach and document" their traditions to keep them alive.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Tious Varghese, opened the event. He framed the festival as a showcase of youthful spirit and creative expression. The DBCK Music Club performed during the program. Razouvolie Tsurho of the Sociology Department chaired the session. Senjano N Murry provided the invocation. Viketsonuo Kiewhuo delivered the vote of thanks, and Kewale Wozah closed the event with a benediction.
