Shillong: Dainty Buds School filled the Deba Kumar Das Memorial Hall this past Saturday. Students from Pre-Nursery through Class X performed for a packed room of teachers and parents. The event honored the hard work families put into raising children.
Kids took the stage for a variety of acts. The show featured Western and cultural dance routines alongside a fancy dress display. Students also performed a musical folklore drama centered on the local legend of Noh KaLikai. It was a busy day.
Speakers emphasized that a child’s education reaches far past the school building. The school highlighted how parents act as the primary guides for their kids. They teach vital values such as honesty, kindness, and responsibility. The celebration reminded everyone that "a child’s upbringing extends far beyond the classroom" while students shared their gratitude for the safe homes their families provide.
