Guwahati: Authorities scrapped four Class 10 half-yearly exams in Assam after a major security breach. Officials confirmed the tests for General Mathematics, General Science, Hindi, and Arabic were compromised. The leak happened at Bhangnamari High School in Bijni, located in the Chirang district.

News of the leak surfaced during the current examination cycle. The integrity of the process remains in doubt. Educational boards acted fast to stop the fallout. "The examinations for the four subjects were cancelled," according to reports from the area.

Investigations into the security failure continue. Officials are searching for the source of the leak. They have yet to announce disciplinary action against those responsible for the security lapse. Students and parents now wait for updates on the remaining schedule.
