Guwahati: Basistha Police took three men into custody following a string of house break-ins across Guwahati. The suspects, Krishan Prasad, Pudina Prasad, and Supiar Rahman, allegedly targeted three homes in the Lalmatia area on August 5. The suspects struck quickly. Police recovered a stash of stolen gold ornaments from the trio after tracking them down.
Authorities registered a formal case at the Basistha Police Station. Officers now suspect the group operated throughout the city for quite some time. Investigators are digging into their history. They want to know if these men pulled off other jobs across Guwahati and hope to recover more stolen loot. The investigation remains active as police look for links to additional crimes.
