Imphal: Assam Rifles troops found 26-year-old Ngangbam Nanao early this morning near Sangaithel. She vanished after heading toward the Khoken area. Her disappearance triggered a massive search involving locals, police, and security forces.
Troops spotted Nanao during a routine foot patrol in the early hours. The search ended quickly. Soldiers handed the woman over to the local MLA while police and neighbors watched. She is now back home with her family.
