Assam Family Reverts to Hinduism in Cachar Ceremony

Guwahati: A family in the Cachar district of Assam abandoned Christianity to return to Sanatan Hinduism on Tuesday, September 29. The group gathered at a Hanuman temple in Jaipur, located within the Lakhipur Assembly constituency, to formalize the shift. They arrived at this decision on their own terms, citing personal beliefs and choice as the driving factors behind the move.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal organized the event. The transition involved Vedic mantras and traditional religious rituals. The family successfully completed the rites. Local office-bearers from both the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal attended the proceedings to offer their support. They congratulated the family, stating they "wished them happiness, peace and prosperity."
