Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Civil Aviation Minister Balo Raja inspected the new Naharlagun Helipad Terminal on Wednesday, August 19. He checked the building and surrounding works to ensure everything stays on track for an inauguration by Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Officials walked the site to verify progress.

Raja scrutinized the widening of a narrow road stretch near Sunday Bazaar and inspected the new boundary wall for the helipad. He brought along Commissioner of Civil Aviation Mamta Riba and Director of Civil Aviation Sterling Jamoh. Other staff from the Directorate of Civil Aviation also joined the site tour.

The minister confirmed the project aims to tighten the state's air travel network. Better facilities mean easier access for the capital region. Raja noted the upgrades will improve convenience and boost flight services throughout the state. During the review, Raja said, "The completion of the terminal building and associated infrastructure would strengthen air connectivity and improve aviation facilities in the state’s capital region."
