Kohima: Dr. Pritpal Kaur, Deputy Inspector General of Police for CID, officially launched the Apraava Energy Scholarship 2026 on September 12. The event took place at the Yhoshü Resource Centre in Kigwema. This program funds education for underprivileged local students. It runs through a partnership between the Eleutheros Christian Society and the YRC Project, backed by KMTL and Apraava Energy.
Kaur spoke as the guest of honor. She pushed students to stay honest and work hard. The officer believes these grants help keep talented youth from falling through the cracks. She noted, "Every student, regardless of their background, deserves an equal opportunity to dream big and achieve success in life."
The Yhoshü Resource Centre offers a variety of support facilities. It houses a boys' hostel, a futsal ground, and space for livelihood activities. A girls' hostel is currently under construction on the site. Kaur urged the attendees to use their education to serve society.
