AIDA Delivers Flood Relief to Northeast India

Kohima: The ANMA Integrated Development Association pushed flood relief into six districts throughout Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Assam. The 2026 monsoon triggered relentless flooding, flash floods, and landslides. Families lost homes, livelihoods, and crops. Essential supply chains collapsed. It was a disaster.

AIDA coordinated with corporate partners Amazon and Nestlé to distribute dry rations, hygiene products, and household goods. The organization also targeted children, providing educational support to recover lost ground. The press release noted, "The operations were made possible through combined efforts of corporate partners, District Administrations, Civil Defence authorities, community organisations, local representatives and volunteers."

Bosco Gram Vikas Kendra joined the mission to bolster these interventions. Relief efforts remain focused on stabilizing communities facing significant infrastructure damage. Local volunteers played a key role in reaching these hard-hit regions.
