Wokha Sakhi Centre Reports 159 Cases Since 2019

Kohima: The Sakhi One Stop Centre located in Wokha has processed 159 cases since it began operations in 2019. These facilities provide essential support services for women facing various forms of abuse and distress.

Data from the centre indicates that domestic violence remains the most frequent issue reported by clients. Out of the total caseload recorded over the past several years, 67 incidents involved domestic abuse.
