Agartala: West Tripura District Magistrate and Collector Dr. Vishal Kumar led a final review of preparations for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21. The inspection ensured that all facilities, including security protocols and transportation, meet the requirements set by the National Testing Agency.

Authorities confirmed that the testing will take place across ten centres, with nine located in West Tripura and one in Dhalai. Approximately 4,300 students are expected to take the exam in West Tripura alone. During a press conference at the District Magistrate's office, Dr. Kumar emphasized that his team is focused on maintaining the integrity of the event. He stated, "Adequate security measures have been put in place, with senior administrative officials monitoring the process and security personnel deployed at all examination centres."

The planning session included senior officers from the state police and the Central Reserve Police Force to guarantee a secure environment. Officials have launched a dedicated helpline to assist any candidates who encounter issues. Candidates are advised to arrive at their assigned locations early and follow all testing guidelines to ensure the exam proceeds without disruption.
