Vivekananda Sangha Honors Ten Top Shillong Students

Shillong: Vivekananda Sangha recognized ten high-achieving students from Shillong schools on Saturday. The organization held a ceremony to celebrate their academic success during 2026. Students earned cash awards, mementos, and certificates of appreciation.

Former DHS Dr. Aman Warr attended the event alongside Jitendra Kumar Das and teacher Ashok Dhar. Organizers greeted the guests with traditional Uttoriyo scarves. Dr. Warr praised the students for their hard work. He urged them to keep pushing forward.

"Congratulated the students and encouraged them to pursue excellence with integrity while working toward the service of the community," said Dr. Warr. The event underscored the group's pledge to support young scholars. These awards push students to give back to the city.
