Two India Reserve Battalion Personnel Rescued Near Manipur Border

Imphal: Two personnel from the 10/11 India Reserve Battalion were safely recovered following a search operation near the Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur. The individuals, identified as Thotreimung and Pasel Anal, were reported missing on May 23 while stationed in the Kamjong district.

The pair disappeared around 10 am after departing for a temporary refugee camp located near Huimine Thana, an area situated between border pillars 100 and 102. Their station was based in Ramphoi village within the Chassad Police Station jurisdiction.

A joint mission involving the Manipur Police and the Assam Rifles successfully located the missing men. Authorities have not yet released specific details regarding how the two officers went missing, but security agencies remain vigilant in the sensitive border region.
