Agartala: The Tripura Electricity Consumers Association took their fight to the top today. They submitted a formal deputation directly to the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited, known as TSECL. The move follows a string of recent technical breakdowns that left users in the dark.
Frequent server failures plague the utility company. Customers cannot pay bills or check their accounts online. This creates a mess for thousands across the state. The group demands immediate fixes to the digital infrastructure to stop these recurring service gaps.
The association claims the system is not up to the task. They called the current situation "a burden on the average consumer" while demanding better accountability from the power provider. Utility bosses have yet to offer a firm timeline for a permanent system upgrade.
