Tripura Officials Conduct High-Level Security Review of Boxanagar Border

Agartala: Sepahijala District Magistrate Dr. Siddartha Shiv Jaiswal led a joint inspection of the Boxanagar border area in the Sonamura Sub-Division on Monday. The high-level delegation included the Superintendent of Police, the Commandant of the 49 Battalion BSF, the Sonamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and the local Tehsildar.

The team reviewed current security arrangements and evaluated administrative measures in the sensitive region. Officials met with field-level staff to address concerns regarding border management, public safety, and inter-agency cooperation. The visit focused on identifying areas for improvement to ensure effective governance and the protection of local residents.
