Agartala: Tripura SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das declared that the Trinamool Congress faces an inevitable political decline in West Bengal. He attributed the party's weakening grip to a culture of arrogance and undemocratic operations led by Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee.
Writing on social media, Das suggested that the public is no longer intimidated by the party. He claimed that threats previously leveled against BJP workers fostered deep resentment among voters, which has eroded the party's grassroots support. According to the minister, only a small fraction of the party's elected officials remain loyal to the current leadership.
Das described the ruling party's internal structure as a house of cards that is ready to collapse. He characterized the shifting political landscape as a victory for democratic values and truth. Concluding his remarks, the minister framed the ongoing decline as a significant moment for the state and invoked patriotic sentiments in support of the transition.
