Tripura Fisheries Minister Orders Faster Project Completion

Agartala: Tripura Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das has called for stricter project management to drive progress in the state's fishing industry. During the second board meeting of the Tripura Fisheries Development Board, held at the Secretariat, the minister demanded that officials ensure all ongoing assignments reach completion on schedule.

Das focused on the need for effective execution of approved developmental initiatives to secure long-term growth for the sector. He urged all stakeholders to remain accountable and diligent in their oversight roles.

The meeting brought together key leadership, including the departmental Secretary and Director. Representatives from the National Fisheries Development Board, the Fisheries College in Lembucherra, Tripura University, and NABARD also participated to review current programs and strategize future development goals.
