Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has sent a formal letter of congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark his 4,399 days in office. In his message, Saha credited the Prime Minister with fostering an era of strong governance, rapid national development, and effective public welfare.
Saha highlighted the specific benefits Tripura has received under the current administration, particularly noting advancements in regional connectivity. He pointed to the HIRA model, which stands for Highways, Internetways, Railways, and Airways, as a major driver for the state's infrastructure growth. He also emphasized that the Act East Policy has been a catalyst for the overall development of the Northeast.
The Chief Minister outlined several central initiatives that have impacted the state, including the socio-economic empowerment of women through self-help groups, new job opportunities for youth, and improved healthcare access via the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He also noted the success of the Digital India program in expanding local capabilities.
Saha concluded his message by reaffirming his support for the national development agenda. He stated that guided by the vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas," India is steadily progressing towards the goal of becoming a developed nation.
