Agartala: Tripura High Court Chief Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao advised students to reduce their reliance on mobile phones and social media during an award ceremony at Auxilium Girls' School. While celebrating the achievements of CBSE Class X and XII toppers, he warned that excessive screen time damages concentration, memory, and overall learning abilities.
Justice Rao emphasized that academic success relies on dedication, time management, and a consistent work ethic. He encouraged students to view education as a means to build character rather than just a way to earn high grades. He reminded the audience that true preparation involves learning to face life's challenges with perseverance and confidence.
Addressing the students directly, he noted that life often presents its tests before delivering the lessons. He cautioned against seeking shortcuts to success, highlighting the importance of building resilience. Justice Rao also spoke to parents, asking them to provide emotional support to their children instead of placing undue pressure on them regarding examination marks.
