Tripura and Nagaland officials push for renewable energy cooperation

Kohima: Tripura Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath met with Nagaland advisor Er Picto Shohe at the state secretariat in Agartala on June 23. They want more renewable energy. The pair discussed swapping governance tactics and expanding welfare programs across state lines. Closer ties pay off.

Nath pushed for better coordination among Northeastern states to speed up regional development. He believes that working together on power projects leads to better living standards. Nath said, "Such interactions help strengthen ties among the states of the Northeast and create opportunities for shared growth."
