Kohima: The Tribal Research Institute (TRI) of Nagaland successfully conducted a one-day workshop focused on the integration of Artificial Intelligence and modern technology. Held on May 18 at the Directorate of Tribal Affairs conference hall in Kohima, the event saw participation from 35 departmental officials and staff members.

According to a report from the Department of Information and Public Relations, the initiative aimed to bolster the digital proficiency of government employees. By leveraging modern technological tools, the workshop sought to streamline office operations, improve communication, and refine data management practices within the department.

Technical experts Seto Khate and Bendang led the sessions, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of AI concepts. The curriculum included practical applications for daily administrative tasks such as drafting official correspondence, writing reports, performing data analysis, and preparing presentations. The instructors also prioritized the ethical implementation of these tools, placing a strong emphasis on maintaining robust cybersecurity and data privacy standards in a governmental context.
