Shillong: Students traveling to the PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Upper Shillong for the NEET (UG) re-examination on Sunday, June 21, should prepare for significant travel delays. The East Khasi Hills District Administration warned that a scheduled visit by a Union Minister will likely lead to regulated traffic movement and congestion on roads leading to the area.
Officials are implementing security measures for the high-level visit and have advised candidates to arrive at the exam center well before their scheduled start times. To avoid missing the exam, students must verify they have all mandatory entry documents ready before departing for the EAC Headquarters testing site.
The administration emphasized that it is coordinating logistics to maintain order and limit disruptions. According to officials, "all necessary measures" are being taken to facilitate the process and minimise inconvenience to candidates. Local authorities have requested that parents, guardians, and the public cooperate with security personnel to ensure the examination proceeds without issue.
