Agartala: Tollywood star Dev wants to bring his cameras to Tripura. The actor and producer said his company, Dev Entertainment Ventures, is hunting for local talent and fresh filming spots in the state. He dropped the news Tuesday at Rupasi SSR in Agartala while pushing his new movie, DeSu7.
Dev says his team is open to fresh faces. He noted he already hired a YouTuber for his latest project. Filmmakers, writers, and cinematographers from the region should pitch their ideas. Dev insisted that collaboration is the goal. "Producers needed to explore new destinations within India as audiences increasingly looked for fresh cinematic experiences," he stated.
The team is set to meet later today to discuss scouting locations in Tripura. Dev recently finished filming in Ladakh and now wants to tap into the local scenery. He thanked the crowd for their warm welcome in Agartala.
Actor Subhasree joined him for the media event to promote their reunion. DeSu7 aims to draw in fans who followed their early work together. Dev noted that his audience has matured since those early days, and the film reflects those shifts. The movie hits theaters on October 16 to coincide with the Durga Puja festivities.
