Tiameren Walling Appointed as New Chairman of Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission

Kohima: Er Tiameren Walling officially assumed his role as the Chairman-cum-Member of the Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission on June 16. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Dr Imkongliba Ao Hall within Lok Bhavan, Kohima.

Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav administered the Oath of Office and the Oath of Secrecy to Walling during the event. The ceremony was attended by Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen, alongside various senior government officials, dignitaries, and invited guests.

According to an official report from the Raj Bhavan, the event marked Walling's formal transition into his new leadership position. A PRO report stated that the ceremony signified "Walling's formal assumption of office as Chairman-cum-Member of the state's electricity regulatory body."
