Agartala: The Transgender Persons Rights Committee is putting heat on officials to follow through on welfare promises. Months of waiting have left the community sidelined. The committee wants a total rollout of the pending recommendations without any further excuses.

Advocates say the state needs to act now. Meaningful change remains stuck in red tape. The group insists the government must deliver the support it promised to ensure basic needs are met for every citizen.

"We need full implementation of these welfare measures to finally secure our rights," said a spokesperson for the committee. The pressure is on for immediate results. Officials have yet to provide a clear timeline for when these changes will actually hit the streets.
