Tanker Plunges Into 100-Foot Assam Gorge

Guwahati: A tanker tumbled into a 100-foot-deep gorge near Burhapahar in Assam’s Kaliabor after a nighttime crash. The truck veered off the road and rolled down the steep embankment. It was a terrifying drop.

The tanker, registered as NL-02-AR-1004, escaped the wreckage empty. It carried no fuel at the time of the crash. The driver somehow walked away from the incident without a single injury. Authorities stated, "Further details about the circumstances leading to the accident are awaited."

Locals expressed immediate concern following the wreck. Police continue to investigate exactly how the vehicle left the roadway.
