Itanagar: Tadu Bini and Nani Hao took home the titles for Apatani Next Top Model 2026. The crowning took place at Hija Village in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. Tadu Bini comes from Mudang Tage village, while Nani Hao hails from Bulla Village.

Hano Sumpi and Hage Konya took second and third place in the women's category. Mihin Lento and Tallo Doding finished as runners-up in the men's category. The event, part of Apatani Fashion Week, displayed local talent.

Finalists walked the stage in traditional Apatani clothing instead of standard evening wear. This move marked them as representatives of their culture. Organisers stated the presentation served to "recognise the titleholders as ambassadors of Apatani heritage and highlighted indigenous identity, authenticity and cultural pride."

Designers Hibu Ollo, Leegang Ozeen, and Taru Monya debuted collections blending old aesthetics with modern style. The theme, Colors of Apatani, bridged the gap between heritage and current trends. Performers and musical guests kept the crowd engaged throughout the evening.

Judges handed out several subtitle awards to round out the night. Best Runway Walk went to Tapi Kanya. Hibu Omang earned Best Presence. Other winners included Tage Chado, Kago Kaku, Hiinyo Rilung, Pura Kalyang, Dani Nuri, and Koj Nampi. The winners walked away with trophies, cash, and mementoes.
