Kohima: Students from across Peren district gathered at the Baptist Higher Secondary School in Jalukie B this Friday for the annual Digiverse competition. Organizers from the Eleazer Trust and Kendeu Coaching Centre ran the event. Church leaders and student union members watched the action.
Dr. Temsula Alinger, a senior surgeon at Dimapur’s CIHSR, served as chief guest. She spoke to the crowd about the value of classroom work. "Teaching as one of the noblest professions," she said. She urged the students to hold onto their integrity and follow the example of Daniel.
Seven local schools competed for top honors. Baptist Higher Secondary School took first place in the quiz, leaving St Xavier Higher Secondary School in second. The debate circuit saw Hangkiayibe Pame from Barail Valley Higher Secondary School claim the win. Isirai Kamlak from St Xavier placed second.
The day wrapped up with an awards ceremony. Organizers handed out prizes to honor the students. They focused on promoting wisdom alongside academic success.
