State Bank of India Donates Over Rs 9 Lakh to Shillong Schools

Shillong: The State Bank of India contributed over Rs 9 lakh to local educational institutions during a recent event at its Shillong main branch. Deputy Managing Director and Chief Development Officer GS Rana presented a corporate social responsibility cheque worth Rs 5 lakh to representatives of Sankardev Vidyapith L.P. School.

The bank's administrative office in Shillong also distributed a separate grant of Rs 4.43 lakh to Arya Kanya Vidyalaya L.P. School. These donations aim to support the infrastructure and needs of the two local primary schools.
