Sikkim Chief Minister Honors Meghalaya Nepali Sahitya Sammelan

Shillong: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang presented a commemorative award to the president and publicity secretary of the Meghalaya Nepali Sahitya Sammelan. The honor recognizes the organization for 25 years of service to Nepali literature, language, and culture.

The group gathered on Monday at Gorkha Pathshala HS School to celebrate a milestone. They marked the 212th birth anniversary of the legendary poet Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya. Members paid floral tributes to the poet during the event.

The organization continues its work promoting Nepali heritage. Their long record of service earned them this recognition from the state leadership.
