Shillong: The Joint Director of Health Services at Shillong Civil Hospital is calling on the public to help identify and claim the body of a man who recently passed away at the facility. The patient, identified as 43-year-old Ramu Chettri of Happy Valley, Shillong, was admitted to the Male Medical Ward-I on May 24.
Chettri died on May 29, five days after his admission. Hospital officials are requesting that family members or anyone with information regarding the deceased contact the hospital immediately to arrange for the collection of the body from the morgue.
