Imphal: Naga frontal organizations in Senapati are escalating their protest. They plan to choke off all inter-district commodity supplies. A newly formed committee will strictly enforce this blockade across the region.

The Naga People’s Organisation, along with local student, women, and tribal groups, joined forces to tighten the movement. They demand accountability for the six Naga men kidnapped at Leilon Vaiphei. These victims were allegedly taken by Kuki refugees, handed to militants, and killed in a gruesome fashion.

The groups warned that violators face severe consequences. They expect every Naga village to keep watch and stop any goods from moving through their areas. These organizations insist the protest remains until the perpetrators face the law.

The NPO statement was clear on their resolve. "The agitation shall continue until justice is delivered for our six Naga brothers, who were kidnapped at Leilon Vaiphei by narco-terrorist Kuki refugees under the leadership of Lalboy Vaiphei, the village chief, later handed over to KNF-P armed militants, headed by Thangboi Kipgen, husband of Nemcha Kipgen, the Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, brutally murdered, and their bodies dismembered in an act of unimaginable cruelty."
