Authorities confiscated his mobile phone during the operation, which was carried out under the jurisdiction of the Khongjom Police Station.

In a related effort the same day, security forces discovered a large cache of arms and explosives in the Tekcham Maning Ching area. The seized items included an SMG carbine, four bolt-action rifles, two 9 mm pistols, and several types of shotguns, including single-barrel and double-barrel breech-loading guns. Additionally, officers recovered four 2-inch para bombs, a 36 HE hand grenade, ten bolt cartridges, and three live 9 mm rounds.
