Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty Clinch China Masters Title

Guwahati: Indian badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty grabbed the China Masters Super 750 title on Sunday, September 6. They fought back in a three-game thriller to take down home favorites He Ji Ting and Ren Xiang Yu. This victory adds another trophy to the pair's long list of international wins.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to X to celebrate the result. He called the performance a massive achievement for the country. The Chief Minister wrote, "China Masters conquered by India! A historic moment for India. What a sensational victory on Chinese soil!"

Sarma lauded the athletes for making the nation proud. He also gave credit to the Badminton Association of India for building the talent of these two champions. The win confirms the duo's standing as one of India's top men's doubles pairings.
