Kohima: Transmission Division Kohima is cutting the lights. A total power shutdown hits the 132/33kV Sanis Sub Station on June 23, 2026. The blackout starts at 10 am and runs until 4 pm.
Crews need the time for essential maintenance work. Every town and village drawing electricity from this station will go dark for the duration of the outage.
Officials are asking for patience while they finish the job. The department stated, "Consumers and the public in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation and bear with the inconvenience caused."
