Kohima: Rovisenuo Hibo took the crown at the Miss Kohima 2026 pageant. The event took place October 13 at the Regional Centre for Excellence in Music and Performing Arts in Jotsoma. The 20-year-old student attends Kohima Science College. She earned the title under the theme "Beyond the Crown." Miss Kohima 2025 Ritsala Thonger performed the crowning honors.
Sunepjungla Kichu and Thejazenuo Angami secured the runner-up spots. Both women study at St Joseph’s College in Jakhama. Former runners-up Neilanuo Sachü and Kechangunuo Kelio presented them with their crowns. Twenty contestants walked the ramp wearing gowns designed by the TS Academy of Design.
The competition awarded several specialty titles. Sunepjungla Kichu earned Miss Perfect 10 while Rovisenuo Hibo took Miss Multimedia. Thejazenuo Angami won Queen of Hearts. Lumvila T Sangtam received the Best Advocacy award, and Vinika P Kiba won Miss Talent. Judges for the evening included Veineinem Singson Haolai, Sekuzo Sovenyi, Suyimtenla Jamir, Keziah Mero, and Nikali Shohe.
4Front Event Management organized the pageant with Sazolie College serving as the host institution. Maj Gen Harinder Singh Mavi, Inspector General of Assam Rifles, attended as the special guest. Dr. Gopal Chetri addressed the crowd. Performers included Benchumo, Nchumbemo, Tsiphrino, Daniel Basnet, and Sangtila. Show Director Theja Sekhose opened the event, and Co-Founder Peweu Tunyi Khamo closed it with a vote of thanks. Anon Wangshu served as the host.
