Kohima: River Belt School in Kuda B Village held a prize distribution ceremony on Tuesday to celebrate the success of its annual Student Led Conference. The awards followed a showcase held on May 29, where students demonstrated their learning through models, plays, and live presentations.

School administrator Noune and headmistress Lily presented awards to winning groups selected by teachers, parents, and school authorities. Honorees included the Class 3A multiplication group, the primary abacus team, and the Class 5 storytelling and cooking teams. Other winners featured the Class 1 phonic songs group, the Class 8 waste management team, and both the Class 10 melodrama and probability groups.

The annual conference invites students to step into the role of teachers. Participants lead discussions, explain their progress, and answer questions from parents and faculty to highlight their academic growth. The May 29 event featured DAN secretary Kevilenuo Solo as the chief guest.
