Kohima: Joint Director of the Registrar General of India, Mohan K. Tiwari, arrived in Wokha on June 23 to inspect Census 2027 training sessions. He checked progress for the second batch of enumerators and supervisors in Wokha Sadar and Wokha Town. He also reviewed the Wozhuro Charge training.
Tiwari told workers to avoid mistakes. He stressed that Census data drives policy, resource allocation, and development planning across the country. “Careful and detailed examination of data and entry of every detail will decide the future aspects of the country,” he said. He reminded staff their work serves the nation.
Wokha Deputy Commissioner K. Mhathung Tsanglao joined the sessions. He warned the teams that poor data ruins local development. The district needs precise figures to guide future welfare schemes. Tiwari and Tsanglao met to discuss how to keep the training on track. Tiwari continues his review through June 24 to guarantee the operation runs with total efficiency.
